Scottsdale Flower Shop Gives Back to NICU Doctors and Nurses for Father’s Day

A Scottsdale flower company is using Father’s Day to give back.

Jeremy Warner became a dad on April 16, 2016. His son was both at HonorHealth at just 25 weeks old.

“We weren’t sure he would make it, but the nurses, the doctors, the support staff there were really the ones who taught us to be there for us,” Warner said. “We have become like a family.”

The family business is now offering a tray of summer treats for Father’s Day this year, and for a good cause.

For each order, the florist donates 15% of the proceeds to the Honor Health NICU. The platter includes snacks, grills and a heart-shaped succulent.

“It’s something that our family business can help with other families who have to go through NICU, and also to help nurses,” Warner said. “There is tremendous stress and pressure on the entire healthcare industry right now.”

Now Dylan is 8 years old and thriving, and the Warners are sure that’s thanks to the care he received in hospital.

“Some days were better than others, some days were tricky,” the father said. “Through it all, it was really knowing that he was in the best of care, trusting in the people who were there to help him, knowing that they wanted him to succeed and be there with us. as much as me.”
