And the designs didn’t come together on their own. In fact, around 80 to 100 man hours were spent on the project, from planning to measurement to the actual construction of the end products.
A spokesperson for The Dutch Flower Shop told the ECHO : “We were contacted by the Empire marketing team last August.
“As big Disney fans, we were immediately very excited and immediately started planning. We had so many brilliant ideas and after meetings and emails we were able to narrow them down and decide what would work best instead using a combination of fresh and artificial flowers.
“Some 80 to 100 hours of work went into this project from ideas, measurement, ordering, manufacturing, and then final installation.
“We were thrilled with the result, seeing all of our ideas and hard work come to life was a proud moment for us.
“The gala was extremely exciting to see the guests admire our work and take their photos in front of the huge wall of roses that we created.
“We are now starting preparations for the creation of Empire Christmas among many other exciting projects.”
With the holiday season on the horizon, we’re sure to see more of The Dutch Flower Shop in the months to come.
Beauty and the Beast is set at the Liverpool Empire until October 16.
