Florist Hanako swaps Berkhamsted High Street for Ashridge House
Hanako Flowers will become Ashridge House’s resident florist after moving to the estate.
The move will see the boutique become the top choice for events and weddings in the former royal residence.
Owner Haylee Benton said: “While we absolutely loved combining hospitality with our floral experiences for the lovely people of Berkhamsted, we had an amazing opportunity to focus exclusively on floristry.
“It means we can continue to expand our services to meet the demand of our wonderful customers and customers.”
The relocation allows the company to offer one-on-one experiences alongside its increasingly popular group workshops.

“Flower Hour” will continue on a Saturday afternoon in which the price of unused flowers will be reduced to ensure there is no waste in the store, with a portion of the proceeds also going to Rennie Grove Hospice Care.
In keeping with its sustainable philosophy, Hanako uses biodegradable and recyclable papers as well as flowers from local farmers and growers during the summer months.
Kate Parrott, Chief Florist, said: “We always strive to use smart sustainable floral mechanisms, innovative biodegradable products and recyclable papers.”
She added: “As we deliver bouquets to your doorstep, we are reducing our own personal carbon footprint by making just one delivery a day.”
Hanako Flowers will officially open on October 15 at Ashridge House.
