Bluebird Care Shropshire donates bouquets of flowers to customers on ‘Blue Monday’

Customers of Bluebird Care Shropshire all received bouquets of flowers on Blue Monday from the care provider.
Blue Monday, January 17, is known as the ‘most depressing day of the year’ and after the festive season the team at Bluebird Care Shropshire thought it would be a good idea to give back to their customers. .
After discussions about what they could do, Bluebird Care Shropshire decided to give each of their customers a bouquet of flowers.
The team then contacted three local florists who were delighted to play a role in the effort to boost community morale.
It turned out to be a huge success, with each of their customers extremely grateful for this thoughtful and kind gift.
Bluebird Care Shropshire provide exceptional home care for clients and also specialize in working with clients with dementia, physical disabilities and many other acute and chronic conditions in the Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Church Stretton area.
Speaking about their contribution to the campaign, the John R Thomas Florists team, Church Stretton, said: “We were very happy to help with the flowers for ‘Blue Monday’. We like to make people smile. Small acts of kindness are very important in today’s world!
Tracey Austin of Hobo Florists, Oswestry added: “This is the third time we have provided flowers to Bluebird Care Shropshire. We are very happy to have been involved in Blue Monday again and to support an important day for many people.
Julie Nicholas, owner of Julie Nicholas Florists, Shrewsbury, said: “It’s always a pleasure to be part of Blue Monday and put smiles on people’s faces.”
